「サイバーセキュリティダッシュボードによるデータドリブンなセキュリティカルチャー変革の取り組み」が日本DX大賞2024特別賞を受賞

日本最大級のDXコンテスト「日本DX大賞2024」のMX（マネジメントトランスフォーメーション）部門において、NECの「サイバーセキュリティダッシュボードによるデータドリブンなセキュリティカルチャー変革の取り組み」が特別賞を受賞しました。

戦略性、データとテクノロジー活用、浸透度、成果のポイントに基づき、データ駆動型のセキュリティ文化醸成への革新的アプローチが高く評価され、応募総数132件の事例の中から選出されました。

6月17日～6月21日にかけて開催されたファイナリストによる「日本DX大賞決勝大会」では、CISO統括オフィスの木造シニアプロフェッショナルが実際のダッシュボード画面を交えながら本プロジェクトによる効果や変革についてプレゼンテーションを行い、ダッシュボードを活用した社員の自発的な取り組み事例や今後の展望など、活発な質疑応答も行われました。

生成AIの発達などによりサイバー脅威が益々増大する情勢に伴い、グローバルで統一的なリスク管理の策定、十分なセキュリティ予算の確保、社員のスキルや意識の向上など、ガバナンス・アカウンタビリティ・アウェアネスのそれぞれの観点で解決すべきセキュリティの経営課題がありました。

「サイバーセキュリティダッシュボード」は、データファクトに基づいた実行型のセキュリティカルチャー変革を目指して開発され、経営層を含むグループ全社員に共通言語でリスクと脅威を可視化することで、これらの課題を解決し、迅速な意思決定と対処を実現しました。

今後もダッシュボードを通じて一層のセキュリティパフォーマンスの可視化を行い、社員全員参加のセキュリティ強化に努めていきます。

日本DX大賞（主催：日本DX大賞実行委員）について

日本のDX推進を加速するために、優れたDX事例を発掘しノウハウや知見を共有することで、日本全体でのDXのさらなる推進と加速を目的とするコンテスト。

自治体や民間企業などが取り組んだDX推進プロジェクトを表彰し、「サステナビリティトランスフォーメーション」「ビジネストランスフォーメーション」「カスタマーエクスペリエンス」「マネジメントトランスフォーメーション」「行政機関・公的機関」の5つの部門から大賞を決定。

The "Data-Driven Security Culture Transformation Initiative with Cyber Security Dashboard" has been awarded a special prize in the MX (Management Transformation) division of Japan's DX contest, the "Japan DX Awards 2024."

The project was highly evaluated for its innovative approach to fostering a data-driven security culture based on strategy, data and technology utilization, penetration rate, and results, and was selected from among 132 entries.

At the "Japan DX Awards Final Competition" held from June 17 to June 21, Mr. Kizukuri, a senior professional from the CISO Office, gave a presentation on the effects and transformation brought about by this project, incorporating actual dashboard screens. Additionally, there was a lively Q&A session, including examples of employee initiatives using the dashboard autonomously and discussions on future prospects for the dashboard.

With the increasing cyber threats due to the advancement of generative AI and other factors, there were security management challenges that needed to be addressed from the perspectives of governance, accountability, and awareness. These included establishing unified global risk management, securing sufficient security budgets, and enhancing employee skills and awareness.

The "Cyber Security Dashboard" was developed to drive a data-driven security culture transformation. By visualizing risks and threats in a common language for all group employees, including the management team, it addressed these challenges and enabled swift decision-making and countermeasures.

We will continue to further enhance the visibility of our security performance through the dashboard, and strive for security strengthening with the participation of all employees.

Japan DX Awards

The contest aims to accelerate the promotion of DX in Japan by discovering outstanding DX examples and sharing knowledge and insights to further promote and accelerate DX nationwide.

The contest awards DX promotion projects undertaken by municipalities and private companies, determining grand prizes from five categories: "Sustainability Transformation," "Business Transformation," "Customer Experience," "Management Transformation," and "Government and Public Institutions.
