Message from the Managing Director
-
“Our ultimate goal is to become the world’s No.1 supplier of submarine cables, which carry 99% of all international communications traffic”
Submarine cables are a vital component of the communications infrastructure that connects the world with data. Linking North America, Eurasia, Africa, and every continent and island on earth, the submarine cables we lay support the Internet and other telecommunications services that have become such an integral part of our lives. With thousands of satellites now orbiting the earth, submarine cables capable of transmitting high volumes of data are becoming increasingly important.
At NEC, we have made it our mission to unite the world by connecting people and countries with submarine cables, thereby making information accessible to everyone and bringing smiles to society. We are looking for individuals who identify with this mission and are willing to work alongside us on our quest to become the world’s No. 1 supplier of submarine cable systems.
