プロフィール

劉健全（情報処理学会フェロー）は、現在、NEC Laboratories Asia Pacific（NLAP）シニアディレクター、および日本電気株式会社（NEC）主幹研究員として、マルチメディアデータ処理に関する研究に従事している。IEEE SPS 2026 Distinguished Industry Speakerに選出されているほか、名古屋大学客員教授を務める。NEC入社以前は、2005年から2006年までTencent Inc.にて開発エンジニアとして勤務し、2010年には香港中文大学の訪問研究員として在籍した。主要な国際会議および学術誌において80件以上の論文を発表し、100件以上のPCT特許を出願している。また、これらの技術的成果を産業界における商用製品として実用化することに成功している。産業界への貢献により、2025年第38回先端技術大賞経済産業大臣賞、CEATEC AWARD 2024において 25周年特別賞、APSIPA 2024 Industrial Distinguished Leader、2024年度日本データベース学会若手功績賞、2023年度電子情報通信学会業績賞、2023年度映像情報メディア学会丹羽高柳賞業績賞、2021年第69回電気科学技術奨励賞並びに文部科学大臣賞、2021年度関東地方発明表彰（公益社団法人発明協会）、2020年度情報処理学会情報処理技術研究開発賞、2018年度情報処理学会業績賞を受賞している。これまでに、IEEE SPS Industry Board Member-at-Large（2025～2026年）、IEEE ICIP 2023・2025およびACM MM 2023・2024・2025のIndustry Co-chair、IEEE MIPR 2021・2026およびBESC 2026のGeneral Co-chair、IEEE IRI 2022、ICME 2020、AIVR 2019、BigMM 2019、ISM 2018、ICSC 2018、ISM 2017、ICSC 2017、IRC 2017、BigMM 2016のPC Co-chairなどを務めている。情報処理学会フェロー、IEEE・ACM・電子情報通信学会シニア会員、映像情報メディア学会（ITE）、アジア太平洋信号情報処理（APSIPA）、日本データベース学会会員（DBSJ）各会員。電子情報通信学会システム数理と応用研究専門委員会（2017年～）およびデータ工学研究専門委員会（2015～2021年）の専門委員、ならびにIEEE TMM（2021～2024年）、ACM TOMM（2022年～）、EURASIP JIVP（2023年～）、IEEE MultiMedia Magazine（2019～2022年）、ITE Transactions on Media Technology and Applications（2021年～）、APSIPA Transactions on SIP（2022年～）、Journal of Information Processing（2017～2021年）のAssociate Editorを務める。筑波大学にて修士（工学）および博士（工学）の学位を取得。
