[AirPrint™]


Note

This setting takes effect after the printer is restarted from Internet Services, or is turned off and then on again from the printer's control panel.

[Enable]

Set whether to enable the use of AirPrint on the printer. If you enable AirPrint, Bonjour (mDNS) and IPP protocol are also enabled.

[USB Connection]

This item is displayed when the use of AirPrint on the printer is enabled.

Set whether to enable USB port connection on the printer.

[System]

Displays the version of the ROM on the controller.

[Bonjour]

This item is displayed when the use of AirPrint on the printer is enabled.

[Printer Name]

Enter the name of the service to be used for multicast DNS.

[Location]

Enter the location of the printer.

[Latitude]/[Longitude]

Enter the location where the printer is actually installed.

[IPP Authentication]

This item is displayed when the use of AirPrint on the printer is enabled.

[Basic Authentication]

Set whether to enable the authentication feature for AirPrint.

[User Name]

This item is displayed when [Basic Authentication] is enabled.

Enter the user name for AirPrint. It cannot contain control characters.

[Password]

This item is displayed when [Basic Authentication] is enabled.

Enter the password. It cannot contain control characters.

[Retype Password]

Enter the same string as that you entered in [Password].

[Certificate Settings]

This item is displayed when the use of AirPrint on the printer is enabled.

Clicking [Edit] displays the [Certificate Settings] dialog box.

[Software Update]

Clicking [Edit and Check Now] displays the [Software Update] screen.

[Supplies]

This item is displayed when the use of AirPrint on the printer is enabled.

Click [Check Status] displays detailed information about [Supplies].
