Importing Certificates


The following procedure uses the case when the window size of the web browser is the large screen.

Note

This function is available when [HTTP - SSL/TLS Communication] is enabled.

  1. Click [Log In] on the upper right corner.
  2. Note

    If [Local User] is displayed on the upper right corner, move to step 3.

  3. Enter [User Name] and [Password] for the system administrator, and then click [Log In].
  4. Click [System] > [Security] > [Security Certificates].
  5. The [Security Certificates] dialog box is displayed.

  6. Select [Trusted Root CA Certificates], [Intermediate CA Certificates], or [Other Certificates] from the drop-down list box.
  7. Click [Import].
  8. The [Import Certificate] dialog box is displayed.

    Certificate File

    Specify by entering the certificate file name to import or clicking [Select]. A null cannot be set. The following characters can be entered:

    • Up to 255 bytes (single-byte only)

    [Password]

    Enter the password for decrypting the certificate data. The following characters can be entered:

    • Up to 36 bytes (single-byte only)
    • Alphanumeric characters and symbols

    [Retype Password]

    Enter the same character string in [Password].

  9. Click [Import].
  10. The certificate is imported.
