[Telnet] Dialog Box

You can configure the settings for Telnet.

Note

This setting becomes available when you restart the printer from CentreWare Internet Services or manually turn off and on the printer on the operator panel of the printer.

[Port]

Specify whether to enable the Telnet protocol.

[Timeout]

This item appears when [Port] is enabled.

Enter the connection timeout period of Telnet protocol. If the reception of data stops during the transfer, the connection to the printer is terminated after the time period specified here elapses.

[Password]

This item appears when [Port] is enabled.

When using a password to access Telnet, enter the password. If you do not want to set a password, leave the text box blank. The following characters can be entered:

Up to 10 bytes (single-byte only)
Alphanumeric characters and symbols

[Retype Password]

This item appears when [Port] is enabled.

Enter the same character string in [Password].
