[IPP] Dialog Box

You can configure the settings for IPP (Internet Printing Protocol).

Note

This setting becomes available when you restart the printer from CentreWare Internet Services or manually turn off and on the printer on the operator panel of the printer.

[Port]

Specify whether to enable the IPP port to be used.

[Port Number]

This item appears when [Port] is enabled.

Displays the IPP port number.

[Alternate Port Number (IPP)]

This item appears when [Port] is enabled.

Enter the port number. The default value is "80".

Important

Do not use the same port number as other protocols.

[Alternate Port Number (IPPS)]

This item appears when [Port] is enabled.

Enter the port number. The default value is "443".

Important

Do not use the same port number as other protocols.

[Timeout]

This item appears when [Port] is enabled.

Enter the connection timeout period of IPP. If the reception of data stops during the transfer, the connection to the printer is terminated after the time period specified here elapses.
