[FTP] Dialog Box

You can configure the settings for FTP.

[FTP Client]

[Transfer Mode]

Select the mode of connection request for FTP.

[Timeout]

Enter the connection timeout period of FTP. If the reception of data stops during the transfer, the connection to the printer is terminated after the time period specified here elapses.

Note

This setting becomes available when you restart the printer from CentreWare Internet Services or manually turn off and on the printer on the operator panel of the printer.

[FTP Server]

[FTP Server Port]

Specify whether to enable FTP server port to be used.

[Timeout]

This item appears when [FTP Server Port] is enabled.

Enter the connection timeout period of FTP server. If the reception of data stops during the transfer, the connection to the printer is terminated after the time period specified here elapses.

[Password]

This item appears when [FTP Server Port] is enabled.

When using a password to access FTP, enter the password. If you do not want to set a password, leave the text box blank. The following characters can be entered:

Up to 7 bytes (single-byte only)
Alphanumeric characters, hyphens (-), and underscores (_)

[Retype Password]

This item appears when [FTP Server Port] is enabled.

Enter the same character string in [Password].
