Adding Contacts to Address Book


The following procedure uses the case when the window size of the web browser is the large screen.

  1. Click [Log In] on the upper right corner.
  2. Note

    If [Local User] is displayed on the upper right corner, move to step 3.

  3. Enter [User Name] and [Password] for the system administrator, and then click [Log In].
  4. Click [Address Book] > [Add Contact].
  5. The [Add Contact] dialog box is displayed.

  6. Enter the information of the contact.
  7. [Add Contact] Dialog Box

    [Name]

    Enter the name of the contact. The following characters can be entered:

    • Up to 64 bytes

    [Index Key]

    Enter the index. Destinations are sorted by indexes entered in [Index Key] when displayed in [Address Book] on the printer. The following characters can be entered:

    • Up to 20 bytes

    [Favorite]

    Specify whether to register frequently used contacts as favorites. You can easily and quickly select destinations from the favorites list in [Address Book] on the printer.

    [Email Address]

    Click [+] to enter the e-mail address. The following characters can be entered:

    • Up to 64 bytes (single-byte only)

    [Fax]

    Click [+] to enter the fax number. The following characters can be entered:

    • Up to 50 bytes (single-byte only)
    • Numbers
    • * # : = -

  8. Click [OK].
  9. The contacts are added to Address Book.
