[Administrator Settings]

You can specify an ID and a password for the administrator.

[Administrator Mode]

Specify whether to authenticate with the user name and the password when changing the administrative printer configuration.

[Administrator Login ID]

Enter the ID for the administrator. A null cannot be set. Colons (:) are not available. The following characters can be entered:

• Up to 8 bytes (single-byte only)
• Alphanumeric characters and symbols

[Administrator Password]

Enter the password for the administrator. A null cannot be set. Colons (:) are not available. The following characters can be entered:

• Between 4 bytes and 128 bytes (single-byte only)
• Alphanumeric characters and symbols

[Maximum Login Attempts]

Enter the maximum number of attempts to be permitted for the administrator ID. To permit an unlimited number of login attempts, enter [0].
