- This item is available when [SMTP] setting is specified.
- This setting becomes available when you restart the printer from Internet Services or manually turn off and on the printer on the operator panel of the printer.
[Email]
Displays the type of applications.
[SMTP]
Displays the SMTP settings. To edit the settings, click [Setup] to display the [SMTP] dialog box.
[Default Setup]
You can specify the e-mail subject and body used when sending scanned documents from the printer by e-mail. Only one subject and body can be registered.
[Subject]
To edit the settings, click the item name to display the [Subject] dialog box.
Enter the subject for the e-mail. The following characters can be entered:
- Up to 50 bytes (single-byte only)
- Alphanumeric characters, symbols, and spaces
[Message]
To edit the settings, click the item name to display the [Message] dialog box.
Enter the e-mail body. The following characters can be entered:
- Up to 200 bytes (single-byte only)
- Alphanumeric characters, symbols, and spaces
