You can configure the settings for SMTP.
Set whether to use the Email Port.
Specify the service provider to use for SMTP.
Enter the e-mail address of the printer. When you want to send e-mails to the printer, use this e-mail address. The e-mail address is also displayed after "From:" on e-mails sent from the printer.
Set the address of the outgoing email server to be connected via the SMTP protocol. Enter the address or select it from the servers list.
This must be specified as an IP address or as a server name that is in fully qualified domain name (FQDN) format.
Enter the port number to be used on the SMTP server.
Select the encryption type for SMTP communication.
If the mail server does not support STARTTLS, communication with the mail server cannot be established even when [STARTTLS] is selected.
Select the login method to the SMTP server. For information on which login method is used, contact your server administrator. If you do not use the login function, select [Off]. When [SMTP AUTH (AUTO)] is selected, the printer automatically supports Plain, Login, and CRAM-MD5.
When SMTP AUTH is selected for [SMTP Authentication], enter the login user name and password for the SMTP server.
Displays the results of connection test. Clicking [Execute] establishes connection with SMTP server.
In normal use, do not change the items except for [Tenant] and [Client ID].
This function is supported with the firmware version 202505300547 or later for our multifunction printers, and with the firmware version 202505300627 or later for our printers.
After saving the settings, on the sign-in screen, enter the email address for sending that is to be set for the machine then sign in.
Upon successful sign in, the email address entered on the sign-in screen will appear in [Device Email].

Enter the name of the tenant that requires access permissions.
The default value is "common".
Enter the client ID.
Enter the scope that asks users for agreement.
The default value is "https://outlook.office.com/SMTP.Send offline_access openid email".
