You can configure the settings for SMTP.
Specify whether to use the e-mail notification.
Enter the e-mail address of the printer. When you want to send e-mails to the printer, use this e-mail address. The e-mail address is also displayed after "From:" on e-mails sent from the printer. The following characters can be entered:
Enter the address of the outgoing e-mail server to be connected via SMTP protocol. The following characters can be entered:
Enter the port number to be used on the SMTP server.
Select the encryption type for SMTP communication.
If the mail server does not support STARTTLS, communication with the mail server cannot be established even when [STARTTLS] is selected.
Select the login method to the SMTP server. For information on which login method is used, contact your server administrator. If you do not use the login function, select [Off]. When [SMTP AUTH (AUTO)] is selected, the printer automatically supports Plain, Login, and CRAM-MD5.

Enter the login user name for the SMTP server. The following characters can be entered:

Enter the login password for the SMTP server. A null cannot be set. The following characters can be entered:
You can enter when SMTP AUTH is selected for [SMTP Authentication].
Enter the same character string in [SMTP AUTH Password].
Displays the results of connection test. Clicking [Execute] establishes connection with SMTP server.
