Initialization

The [Initialization] page initializes the NV memory.

Initialize NIC NVM
To initialize the NV memory of NIC (Network Interface Card), click the [Start] button. To activate the initialization, switch the scanner off and then on again. When the scanner is rebooted, its settings are initialized to their default values.
The NV memory is a nonvolatile memory that retains the settings of the scanner even when its power is shut off.
