Select this item not to use accounting features.
Select this item to track usage based on information pre-registered with the printer.
This item can be set when [Login Type] is set to [Log In to Local Accounts].
Clicking the [Select]/[Edit] button displays the [Local Accounting] dialog box.
When [Login Type] is set to [No Login Required], clicking the [Select] button displays the message "Local Accounting cannot be selected when Login Type is set to No Login Required." appears, and you cannot switch to Local Accounting.

Set whether to hide the letters being typed.
Select this item to track usage based on user information being managed by the remote accounting service. User information is registered from the remote accounting service.
Clicking the [Select]/[Edit] button displays the [Network Accounting] dialog box where you can configure the settings.

When this item is enabled, credentials are verified.
When this item is not enabled, users are prompted to enter User ID and Account ID for the printer driver or the printer, but their credentials are not verified. However, entered information is recorded on the printer.
Set whether to verify credentials when users attempt to run Print or Direct Fax jobs, and whether to set exceptions.
This item can be set when [Verify User Details] is set to [On].
Retrieve logs to check usage of the printer by logged-in users.
The authentication server can be selected only when [Login Type] is set to [Log In to Remote Accounts], and [Authentication System] is set to [Authentication Agent].
