Print Auditron
This page allows you to configure the settings for the user authentication feature.
The following settings will become valid after you reboot the printer from CentreWare Internet Services or manually switch it off and then on again.
Print Auditron
Select this check box when using the authentication feature of the printer.
Non-account Print
Set whether or not to permit printing of jobs that do not have user name and password. To permit printing, select this check box. There are some print jobs that do not have account information (jobs that were not created on print drivers). Such jobs include print data that were created directly on applications and sent to the printer. To prohibit printing of jobs that do not have account information, deselect this check box.
User Account - Edit User Account
Click this to register users who are permitted to use the printer. When clicked, [Edit User Account] appears.
This item appears only when the authentication feature of the printer is enabled.

Edit User Account
Set the following items to register a user who is permitted to use the printer.
User Account Number
Enter the user number to be registered or edited, and click the [Edit] button.
[Edit] button
Clicking this button displays a page that allows you configure the detailed settings. The items that can be configured are described in "User Account Settings" below.
User Account Settings
Set the following items to configure the details of a user who is permitted to use the printer. This page also allows you to delete users who are already registered.
When the Print Auditron feature is enabled, the user registered on this page will be prompted for the user name and password on print drivers.
The following settings will become valid after you reboot the printer from CentreWare Internet Services or manually switch it off and then on again.
User Account Number
Displays the user account number.
User Name
Enter the user name with up to 32 bytes using alphanumeric characters and spaces.
The following symbols are unavailable:

Password
Displays 12 asterisks (*), regardless of whether a password has already been set or not. To enter a password, delete all the asterisks and then enter the password using 4 to 12-digit alphanumeric characters and symbols.
Re-enter Password
Enter the password entered in [Password] for confirmation.
Color Access
Set whether or not to restrict color printing.
- [Free Access]
Permits color printing.
- [Black Only]
Prohibits color printing.
Color Print Limit
Set the maximum number of color pages permitted to print within the range of 1 to 9,999,999.
"0" cannot be specified.
Color Printed Impressions
Displays the total number of color pages printed.
Black Print Limit
Set the maximum number of monochrome pages permitted to print within the range of 1 to 9,999,999.
"0" cannot be specified.
Black Printed Impressions
Displays the total number of monochrome pages printed.
[Delete User] button
If the settings of a user who is already registered are displayed on the window, the [Delete User] button appears at the upper right of the frame. Click this bottom if you want to delete the user.
[Save] button
Transfers the settings to the printer and registers the user.
[Undo] button
Resets the settings to their original values without transferring them to the printer.
[Back] button
Returns to the [Edit User Account] page without transferring the settings to the printer.
