Security - Administrator Settings
This page allows you to configure the administrator security settings.
Administrator Mode
If you want to permit only the administrator to change settings on the CentreWare Internet Services, select [Enabled]. If you want to permit all users to change settings, select [Disabled]. The default is [Enabled].
When this is set to [Enabled], you will be prompted to enter the administrator ID and password when changing settings.
Administrator Login ID
Enter the administrator name using alphanumeric characters up to 8 bytes. You can use both alphanumeric characters and symbols.
[Administrator Login ID] that has already been set will not be displayed on the page.
The original setting will remain valid if no entry is made.
Administrator Password
Enter the password of the administrator for the CentreWare Internet Services.
The password is displayed in 4 circles, regardless of whether it has already been set or not.
To enter a password, delete all the circles and then enter the password within 10 bytes using alphanumeric characters and symbols.
If the text box is left blank, the original setting will remain valid.
The asterisks (*) may be displayed instead of circles depending on your web browser.
Re-enter Password
Re-enter the password entered in [Administrator Password] for confirmation.
Maximum Login Attempts
When authenticating with the administrator, set the number of consecutive erroneous entries of the password allowed.
Set the number of consecutive failures of authentication allowed as 0 or from 5 to 255.
Setting to 0 does not limit the times of consecutive erroneous entries of the password.
The default ID and password are "admin" and "NECPRADMIN".
