[User Accounts]


Set detailed information about the users registered with the printer. You can also change passwords for users or delete users.

[Anonymous User Management] Dialog Box

Clicking [Edit] on the right side of the [Anonymous User Management] dialog box screen and selecting [Anonymous User Management] displays the dialog box.

This dialog box allows you to reset personalization settings for unauthenticated users.

[Add New Account] Dialog Box

Clicking [Edit] on the right side of the screen and selecting [User Accounts] displays the dialog box.

Fill in [User ID], [Password] and [Retype Password] to add an account.

This item is displayed only when configuring [Local].

[Reset Settings for All User Accounts] Dialog Box

Clicking [Edit] on the right side of the screen and selecting [Reset Settings for All User Accounts] displays the dialog box.

Regarding [Reset All Feature Access] and [Reset All Account Limits], set whether to reset those settings for all users.

This item is displayed when [Local] is selected.

Important

These settings cannot be restored once reset.

[Account Auto Setup for Card Login] Dialog Box

Set whether to enable auto-registration of users when they log in with IC card.

If you enable this item, also configure the settings including user name, access restriction per feature, upper limit page count, and permission group.

This item is displayed only when you are configuring [Local], and when the Use of IC Card is controlled based on JOB.

Account Information Screen

To edit the settings for individual user account, click the user name to display the screen where you can view detailed information about the user.

[User Details]

[Icon Settings]

Select a display icon for the user.

Note

This item is not displayed if the user is System Administrator.

[Change Password]

Enter a new password. If you do not want to set a password, leave the field blank.

[User Details]

Click [User Details] and enter user details.

Note

[User Name] is not displayed if the user is System Administrator.

[Delete]

Clicking [Delete] deletes information about the user.

This item is not displayed if the user is System Administrator.

[User Permissions]

Click [Edit] and set permissions for each feature and operation.

Note

This item is not displayed if the user is System Administrator.

[Personalization]

Clicking [Delete] deletes the personalization settings and restore default settings for Home.

Note

This item is not displayed if the user is System Administrator.

[Account Usage]

Click [Edit] and configure the settings for each feature.

This item is displayed when [Local] is selected.

Note

This item is not displayed if the user is System Administrator.

[Account Usage]

Set the upper limit of the number of pages.
Clicking [Reset] clears the total impressions counter, and the value is set to zero (0).

[Available Account IDs]

Set the account ID to be used.
