[EP Service]


Configure the settings for the EP system that uses Internet. For information about the EP system, contact your local representative or our MultiWriter support desk.

[EP Diagnostic Request / Repair Request]

Allows you to request the Remote Center for an inspection or repair of the machine.

[Check EP Connection]

Allows you to test the communication with the server.

[EP Proxy Server Setup]

Refer to and set up the EP proxy server for WEP.

This feature is provided when the WEP feature is enabled.

[Proxy Server Settings]

Select how to set up the proxy server.

[HTTPS Server]

This item is displayed when Proxy Server Settings is set to [Same Proxy for All Protocols] or [Different Proxy for Each Protocol].

[Server Name]/[Port Number]

Fill in each item.

[Authentication]

Set whether to enable the authentication feature for the HTTPS proxy server.

[Login Name]/[Password]/[Retype Password]

Fill in each item.

This item is displayed when [Authentication] is enabled.

[HTTP Server]

This item is displayed when Proxy Server Settings is set to [Different Proxy for Each Protocol].

[Server Name]/[Port Number]

Fill in each item.

[Authentication]

Set whether to enable the authentication feature for the HTTPS proxy server.

[Login Name]/[Password]/[Retype Password]

Fill in each item.

This item is displayed when [Authentication] is enabled.

[Automatic Proxy Configuration Script]

This item is displayed when Proxy Server Settings is set to [Use Automatic Proxy Configuration Script].

[URL]

Specify the address (URL) of the proxy configuration script.

[Software Update]

Configure the settings for updating software. This screen is displayed only when your printer supports this feature.

[Enable]

Set whether to update software.

[Start Date & Time]

Specify the date and time to initiate software updates.
