[WSD]


Configure the settings for WSD (Web Services on Devices).

Note

This setting takes effect after the printer is restarted from Internet Services, or is turned off and then on again from the printer's control panel.

[Port (Print from Desktop)]

Set whether to enable the Print from Desktop feature.

[Port Number]

Enter the port number for WSD. The default value is "80".

Important

Do not use the same port number as that for other protocols.

[PJL]

Set whether to enable the use of the PJL switch.

[Print Mode]

Set the type of print language used when submitting print jobs.

The displayed options depend on the features of the printer.

[TBCP Filter]

Set whether to enable the TBCP filters when processing PostScript data.

This item is displayed when PostScript is available.

[Data Receive Timeout]

Enter the amount of time after which WSD connection timeout occurs. During data reception, if the amount of time specified here elapses without data being received, the connection is disconnected.

[Notification Delivery Timeout]

Enter the amount of time after which WSD connection timeout occurs. During notification delivery, if the amount of time specified here elapses without notification being received, the connection is disconnected.

[IP Packet (TTL)]

Set how many hops away from the printer to the target network on which WSD clients are to be communicated.

[Maximum Number of Subscribers]

Enter the maximum number of recipients allowed per WSD port.
