[SNMP]


Configure the settings for SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol).

Note

[SNMP v3] is valid when [SSL/TLS Communication] is enabled.

[Port]

Set whether to enable the use of the SNMP protocol.

[Authentication Failure Generic Traps]

This item is displayed when [Port] is enabled.

Set whether notification is sent when SNMP authentication fails.

[SNMP v1/v2]

This item is displayed when [Port] is enabled.

Set whether to enable SNMP v1/v2c. To edit the settings, click the item name to display the [SNMP v1/v2] dialog box.

[SNMP v3]

This item is displayed when [Port] is enabled.

Set whether to enable SNMP v3. To edit the settings, click the item name to display the [SNMP v3] dialog box.

[SNMP Trap Destinations]

Lists the members to which traps are sent. Clicking a member or [<Available>] displays the dialog box for editing traps.

[Edit Trap 1] to [Edit Trap 8] Dialog Boxes

[Enable]

Indicates whether the trap destination is enabled/disabled. The following items are displayed only when this item is enabled.

[SNMP Version]

Set the SNMP version.

[Address Type]

Set the type of destination addresses to which traps are sent.

[IP Address or Host Name]

Enter the IP address or host name, and the port number (UDP).

[Traps Community Name]

Set the community name used when traps are sent. This item is displayed when [SNMP Version] is set to [v1] or [v2c].

[Trap User Name]

Set the user name used when traps are sent. This item is displayed when [SNMP Version] is set to [v3].

[Traps to be Received]

For each item, set whether to notify of the occurrence of traps.
