If this setting conflicts with the setting for other devices on the network, the setting for other devices takes precedence.
[Port]
Set whether to use Bonjour.
If your organization uses more than one network interface, this setting will be applied to each interface in common.
[Wide-Area Bonjour]
This item is displayed when [Port] is enabled.
Set whether to enable the Wide-Area Bonjour protocol.
When more than one Ethernet interface is used, and when the printer is equipped with the wireless LAN kit, only the primary interface can be set in this item.
[Host Name]
This item is displayed when [Port] is enabled.
Enter the name of the host to be used for multicast DNS.
[Printer Name]
This item is displayed when [Port] is enabled.
Enter the name of the printer to be used for multicast DNS.
