[SNMP v3]


Note

This setting takes effect after the printer is restarted from CentreWare Internet Services, or is turned off and then on again from the printer's control panel.

[Enable]

Set whether to enable SNMP v3.

[Allow Write]

Set whether to allow clients to write to data when they access data.

[System Administrator Account]

This item is displayed when SNMP v3 is enabled.

Set whether to allow access by the system administrator. Allowing access by the system administrator enables the system administrator account.

[User Name]

This item is displayed when access by the system administrator is allowed.

The user name of the system administrator is displayed.

[Message Digest Algorithm]

Select the message digest algorithm to use for the system administrator account.

[Authentication Password]

This item is displayed when access by the system administrator is allowed.

Enter the password for authentication. This field cannot be left blank.

[Retype Password]

This item is displayed when access by the system administrator is allowed.

Enter the same string as that you entered in [Authentication Password].

[Message Encryption Algorithm]

Select the message encryption algorithm to use for the system administrator account.

[Encryption Password]

This item is displayed when access by the system administrator is allowed.

Enter the encryption password. This field cannot be left blank.

[Retype Password]

This item is displayed when access by the system administrator is allowed.

Enter the same string as that you entered in [Encryption Password].

[Printer Drivers Account]

Set whether to allow access by printer drivers.

[Message Digest Algorithm]

Displays the message digest algorithm to be used for the system administrator account.

This item is displayed when the system administrator account is enabled.

[Message Encryption Algorithm]

Displays the message encryption algorithm to be used for the system administrator account.

This item is displayed when the system administrator account is enabled.

[Reset Password]

This item is displayed when access by printer drivers is allowed.

Resets the password to the default value.

[Trap Destination]

This item is displayed when SNMP v3 is enabled.

Lists the members to which traps are sent. Clicking a member or [(Not Registered] displays the dialog box for editing traps.

[Edit Trap 1] to [Edit Trap 8] Dialog Boxes

[Address Type]

Set the type of destination addresses to which traps are sent.

[IP Address]

Enter the IP address or host name, and the port number (UDP).

[User Name]

Set the use name used when traps are sent.

[Traps to be Received]

For each item, set whether to notify of the occurrence of traps.
