Setting Up Your Web Browser


Configure the following settings in your web browser before you use CentreWare Internet Services.

This section uses Internet Explorer® 11 as an example.

Configuring Settings for Temporary Internet Files

  1. Click [Tools] > [Internet Options].
  2. The [Internet Options] dialog box appears.

  3. On the [General] tab, click [Settings] under [Browsing history].
  4. The [Website Data Settings] dialog box appears.

  5. On the [Temporary Internet Files] tab, under [Check for newer versions of stored pages], select [Every time I visit the webpage] or [Every time I start Internet Explorer].
  6. Click [OK].
  7. The [Website Data Settings] dialog box closes.

  8. Click [OK].
  9. The [Internet Options] dialog box closes.

Choosing Not to Use a Proxy Server for the IP Address of the Printer

  1. Click [Tools] > [Internet Options].
  2. The [Internet Options] dialog box appears.

  3. On the [Connection] tab, click [LAN Settings] under [Local Area Network (LAN) settings].
  4. The [Local Area Network (LAN) settings] dialog box appears.

  5. Use either of the following settings for [Proxy Server]:
  6. Click [OK].
  7. The [Local Area Network (LAN) settings] dialog box closes.

  8. Click [OK].
  9. The [Internet Options] dialog box closes.

Enabling JavaScript

  1. Click [Tools] > [Internet Options].
  2. The [Internet Options] dialog box appears.

  3. On the [Security] tab, click [Local Intranet], and then [Custom Level].
  4. The [Security Settings - Local Intranet Zone] dialog box appears.

  5. Scroll down to [Script], and check that [Active scripting] is enabled.
  6. Click [OK].
  7. The [Security Settings - Local Intranet Zone] dialog box closes.

  8. Click [OK] on the [Internet Options] screen.
  9. The [Internet Options] dialog box closes.
