You can specify the security on data sent and received by the printer.
The data that are subject to security protection are IPP print jobs, information exchanged between the printer and the web browser, or information exchanged between the printer and the server. These data are encrypted using SSL/TLS communication.
To access CentreWare Internet Services when data encryption is enabled, enter "https" before its address instead of "http".
Note
Specify whether to enable SSL/TLS communication.
If you do not have a certificate, "Disabled" is displayed. In such case, click [Generate Self-Signed Certificate] and create a certificate.
Enter the port number that accepts requests from your web browser. The default value is "443".
When the port number is changed, enter a colon (:) and the port number after the printer's IP address, and then access to CentreWare Internet Services with the format of "https://Printer_IP_Address:Port_Number/".
Example:
https://192.0.2.1:80/
