You can specify the security on data sent and received by the printer.
The data that are subject to security protection are IPP print jobs, information exchanged between the printer and the web browser, or information exchanged between the printer and the server. These data are encrypted using SSL/TLS communication.
To access Internet Services when data encryption is enabled, enter "https" before its address instead of "http".
This setting becomes available when you restart the printer from Internet Services or manually turn off and on the printer on the operator panel of the printer.
Set the version of TLS.
Specify the certificates of the printer.
Specify whether to enable the SSL/TLS communication.
When there is no certificate, [HTTP - SSL/TLS Communication] cannot be specified.
Enter the port number that accepts requests from your web browser. The default value is "443".
When the port number is changed, enter a colon (:) and the port number after the printer's IP address, and then access to Internet Services with the format of "https://Printer_IP_Address:Port_Number/".
Example: https://192.0.2.1:80/
Do not use the same port number as other protocols.
Specify whether to enable LDAP using SSL/TLS communication.
Select the encryption type for SMTP communication.
If the mail server does not support STARTTLS, communication with the mail server cannot be established even when [STARTTLS] is selected.
Enable this setting when using IPPS only among IPP and IPPS (IPP of SSL/TLS communication).
Specify whether to verify the certificates of the destination sever.
