Note the following when entering characters, numbers, e-mail addresses, and passwords.

Entering Characters/Numbers

In this Help, the maximum number of characters that you can enter is described in bytes in some cases.

When you enter characters, it may be useful to know that UTF-8 encoding uses 1 to 6 bytes to express one character.

Important

Even if the character string that you enter are displayed in text boxes, the entire characters may not be saved.

Note the following when entering e-mail addresses:

Enter the e-mail address with "local portion@domain portion" or "local portion" format.
Do not use a period (.) at the beginning or end of each portion, or two or more consecutive periods.
In the "local portion", use alphanumeric characters and the following symbols:

! # $ % & ' * + - / = ? ^ _ ` { | } ~

In the "domain portion", use alphanumeric characters, periods (.), and hyphens (-).

Regardless of whether it is already entered or not, such as circles (•) are displayed in text boxes.
Delete all the circles when entering the new password.
