[Accounting Settings]


View/edit the settings for the accounting management feature, and define user account information.

Note

The displayed items vary depending on the authentication method implement in your environment.

[Account ID Settings]

Configure the settings for account IDs.

This item is displayed when [Authentication/Accounting Type] is set to [Local] or [Network], and the printer is equipped with a storage.

[Use Account ID]

Set whether to use account IDs.

[Account ID Settings]

[Default Label]

Set the default label of Account ID as necessary.

[Mask Input]

Set whether to mask the input characters.

[Account ID Management]

Clicking the [Edit] button displays the [Account ID Management] dialog box.

This item is displayed when [Authentication/Accounting Type] is set to [Local].

Add Account ID

Clicking (Add) on the right of [Account IDs] displays the [Add Account ID] dialog box.
Enter [Account Name] and [ID].

Edit Account ID

Clicking the Account ID displays the [Edit Account ID] dialog box.

[ID]

Displays the account ID.

[Account Name]

Set an account name for the account ID.

[Account Usage]

Displays the Total Impressions counter up to the present time for the selected account.
Clicking [Reset] sets the Total Impressions counter to "0".

[Link Users]

Set whether associate account IDs with new users or existing users.

Note

You can select existing users using the keyboard. For information, refer to "Working with Lists".

Delete Account ID

To delete the Account ID, click the trash box icon.

[Download Accounting Report]

Downloads an accounting report.

This item is displayed when [Authentication/Accounting Type] is set to [Local].

[Reset Accounting Information]

Resets accounting information.

This item is displayed when [Authentication/Accounting Type] is set to [Local].
