[SNMP v3] Dialog Box

Note

This setting becomes available when you restart the printer from Internet Services or manually turn off and on the printer on the operator panel of the printer.

[Enable]

Specify whether to enable SNMP v3.

[System Administrator Account]

This item appears when SNMP v3 is enabled.

Specify whether to enable account access of the system administrator. Enabling account access of the system administrator enables the system administrator account.

[User Name]

This item appears when account access of the system administrator is enabled.

Displays the user name of the system administrator.

[Message Digest Algorithm]

Select the message digest algorithm to use for the system administrator account.

[Authentication Password]

This item appears when account access of the system administrator is enabled.

Enter an authentication password. A null cannot be set. The following characters can be entered:

  • Between 8 bytes and 32 bytes (single-byte only)
  • Alphanumeric characters and symbols

[Retype Password]

This item appears when account access of the system administrator is enabled.

Enter the same character string in [Authentication Password].

[Message Encryption Algorithm]

Select the message encryption algorithm to use for the system administrator account.

[Encryption Password]

This item appears when account access of the system administrator is enabled.

Enter an encryption password. A null cannot be set. The following characters can be entered:

  • Between 8 bytes and 32 bytes (single-byte only)
  • Alphanumeric characters and symbols

[Retype Password]

This item appears when account access of the system administrator is enabled.

Enter the same character string in [Encryption Password].

[Print Drivers Account]

Specify whether to enable account access of the print driver.

[Message Digest Algorithm]

Displays the message digest algorithm to be used for the system administrator account.

[Message Encryption Algorithm]

Displays the message encryption algorithm to be used for the system administrator account.

[Reset to Default Password]

This item appears when account access of the print driver is enabled.

Resets the password to the default.
