[LDAP Servers/Directory Services] Dialog Box


Note

This setting becomes available when you restart the printer from Internet Services or manually turn off and on the printer on the operator panel of the printer.

[Server Information]

[IP Address/Host Name : Port]

Enter the LDAP server address and port number.

  • Text Box on the Left

    Enter the server address connected via LDAP protocol. The following characters can be entered:
    • IP address or FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) format
    • Up to 64 bytes (single-byte only)
    • Alphanumeric characters, periods (.), and hyphens (-)
  • Text Box on the Right

    Enter the port number to be used on the LDAP server.

[LDAP Server Type]

Displays the directory application.

[Advanced Settings]

[Search Directory Root]

Enter the search directory root. The following characters can be entered:

  • Up to 255 bytes

[Login Credentials for Database Search]

Select the login credentials to access the LDAP server.

[Login Name]

This item appears when [Predefined] is selected for [Login Credentials for Database Search].

Enter the administrative login user name of the LDAP server. The following characters can be entered:

  • Up to 255 bytes

[Password]

This item appears when [Predefined] is selected for [Login Credentials for Database Search].

Enter the administrative login password of the LDAP server. The following characters can be entered:

  • Up to 127 bytes

[Retype Password]

This item appears when [Predefined] is selected for [Login Credentials for Database Search].

Enter the same character string in [Password].

[Search Timeout]

Select the timeout period to search.

[Timeout]

This item appears when [Specify Timeout] is selected for [Search Timeout].

Enter the timeout period.

[Search Criteria]

[Search Criteria]

Select the search name order.
