[Create New Certificate]

[Public Key Method]

Select the method of the public key. When you want to enhance security, select [RSA/SHA-512].

[Public Key Size]

Select the size of the public key. When you want to enhance security, select [2048 bits].

[Issuer]

Displays the issuer of the certificate. The issuer is assigned automatically based on the printer name and MAC address. The issuer cannot be changed once assigned.

[Validity]

Enter the effective time period of the created certificate.

[Generate Signed Certificate]

Transfers the settings to the printer and creates the certificate.

Important

It may take several seconds for the certificate to be created. Do not click [Generate Signed Certificate] more than once.

Note

This setting becomes available when you reboot the printer from CentreWare Internet Services or manually turn off and on the printer.

Returns to the [SSL/TLS Server Communication] page without transferring the settings to the printer.
