Configure the settings for the IPv4 address. This item appears when [IPv4] or [Dual Stack] is selected for [IP Mode].
Select the method for obtaining the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address. When the method is selected other than [Manual], the addresses are automatically specified via each protocol, and the addresses entered manually are ignored.
Enter the IP address allocated to the printer when [Manual] is selected for [Get IP Address].
Enter the subnet mask when [Manual] is selected for [Get IP Address].
Enter the gateway address when [Manual] is selected for [Get IP Address].
Configure the settings for the IPv6 address. This item appears when [IPv6] or [Dual Stack] is selected for [IP Mode].
Specify whether to manually set the IPv6 address.

Enter the IP address and prefix length allocated to the printer.
Displays stateless addresses assigned by the IPv6 router connected to the network.
Displays stateful addresses assigned by the IPv6 router connected to the network.
Displays a link-local address.
Enter the gateway address.
Displays a gateway address assigned by the IPv6 router connected to the network.
Configure the settings when DNS is used.
Enter the domain name. The following characters can be entered:

Specify whether to automatically set the DNS server address using DHCP. When [Enabled] is selected, the addresses entered manually are ignored.
When the method for obtaining the DNS server address is set to DHCP, the method for obtaining the IP address is also set to DHCP.
Enter the DNS server address.
Configure the settings when IPv6 mode is used. This item appears when [IPv6] or [Dual Stack] is selected for [IP Mode].

Specify whether to update DNS dynamically. When [Enabled] is selected, enter [DNS Domain Name].
When dynamic DNS is prohibited by the server, this setting is not available even when you select [Enabled]. For information about the operation of dynamic DNS, contact your administrator.
This item appears when [IPv4] or [Dual Stack] is selected for [IP Mode].
Specify whether to update DNS dynamically. When [Enabled] is selected, enter [DNS Domain Name].

Specify whether to resolve DNS names via IPv6 mode first. This item appears when [Dual Stack] is selected for [IP Mode].
Configure the settings when WINS is used. This item appears when the printer supports either SMB or SMB client, and [IPv4] or [Dual Stack] is selected for [IP Mode].
Specify whether to obtain the primary and secondary WINS server address via DHCP. When [DHCP] is selected, the addresses entered manually are ignored.
When the method for obtaining the WINS server address is set to DHCP, the method for obtaining the IP address is also set to DHCP.
Enter the WINS server address.
Enter the back-up WINS server address.
