[Bonjour]

You can configure the settings for the Multicast DNS function.

Important

If this setting conflicts with the setting of some other machine on the network, it may be overwritten by the setting of another machine.

[LAN1]

[Host Name]

Enter the host name to be used on Multicast DNS. The following characters can be entered:

Up to 63 bytes (single-byte only)
Alphanumeric characters and hyphens (-)

[Printer Name]

Enter the printer name to be used on Multicast DNS. The following characters can be entered:

Up to 63 bytes (single-byte only)

[Wide-Area Bonjour]

Specify whether to enable the Wide-Area Bonjour protocol.

[LAN2]

This item appears when the printer is connected to a wireless network and Wi-Fi Direct is enabled.

[Host Name]

Enter the hostname to be used on Multicast DNS. The following characters can be entered:

Up to 63 bytes (single-byte only)
Alphanumeric characters and hyphens (-)

[Printer Name]

Enter the printer name to be used on Multicast DNS. The following characters can be entered:
