Entering Non-alphanumeric Characters
The printer uses UTF-8 to save and edit characters. In general, UTF-8 requires 2 to 4 bytes to save a non-alphanumeric character.
In this Help, a non-alphanumeric character is assumed as 3 bytes.
Important
- Even if non-alphanumeric characters that you enter are displayed in text boxes, the entire characters may not be saved.
- Actual number of characters that you can enter may differ from the number that is written in this Help.
