[IPP]


Configure the settings for IPP (Internet Printing Protocol).

Note

This setting takes effect after the printer is restarted from Internet Services, or is turned off and then on again from the printer's control panel.

[Port]

Set whether to enable the use of the IPP/IPPS port.

[Port Number]

This item is displayed when [Port] is enabled.

Displays the port number for IPP.

[PJL]

Set whether to enable the use of the PJL switch.

[Print Mode]

Set the type of print language used when submitting print jobs.

The displayed options depend on the features of the printer.

[Added Port (IPP)]

Set whether to enable the use of the IPP port.

[Added Port Number (IPP)]

This item is displayed when [Added Port (IPP)] is enabled.

Enter the port number for IPP. The default value is "80".

Important

Do not use the same port number as that for other protocols.

[Added Port (IPPS)]

Set whether to enable the use of the IPPS port.

[Added Port Number (IPPS)]

This item is displayed when [Added Port (IPPS)] is enabled.

Enter the port number for IPPS. The default value is "443".

Do not use the same port number as that for other protocols.

[TBCP Filter]

Set whether to enable the use of TBCP filters.

This item is displayed when PostScript is available.

[Access Control]

Set whether to enable the use of access control.

[Connection Timeout]

Set whether to enable the settings for the connection timeout.

[Timeout]

This item is displayed when [Connection Timeout] is enabled.

Set the connection timeout value.

[Spool]

Set whether to spool data.
