Set up the communication environment that uses Ethernet.
This setting takes effect after the printer is restarted from Internet Services, or is turned off and then on again from the printer's control panel.
Displays the MAC address.

Set the Ethernet communication speed. If you select [Auto], the printer automatically detects the communication speed and full/half duplex settings, and switches to them.

When enabled, the power consumption of the printer is reduced if the connection destination device supports the power-saving Ethernet feature.
Displays the IPv4 address settings.
To edit the settings, click [Edit] to display the [IPv4] dialog box.
Set how to get the printer's IP address.
Displays the IP address.
When [IP Address Resolution] is set to [STATIC], you can enter the IP address that is assigned to the printer.
Displays the subnet mask.
When [IP Address Resolution] is set to [STATIC], you can enter a subnet mask.
Display the gateway address.
When [IP Address Resolution] is set to [STATIC], you can enter a gateway address.
Set whether to free up the IP address when the printer is turned off.
Displays the IPv6 address settings.
To edit the settings, click [Edit] to display the [IPv6] dialog box.
Display the link local address.
Displays IPv6 addresses assigned automatically.
Displays the purpose of using DHCPv6.
This setting can be changed if the feature for changing the purpose of DHCPv6 is enabled.
Set whether to configure IPv6 addresses manually.
Getting the automatically set address will be done even if this item is enabled.
This item is displayed when [Manual Address] is enabled.
Enter the IP address that is assigned to the printer and the length of the prefix.
This item is displayed when [Manual Address] is enabled.
Enter a gateway address.
This item is displayed when [Manual Address] is enabled.
The displayed gateway address is the one that has been assigned by the IPv6 router connected to the network.
Displays the DNS settings.
To edit the settings, click [Edit] to display the [DNS Configuration] dialog box.
Enter the domain name.
Displayed when [DNS Encryption (DNS over HTTPS)] is set to [Unencrypted Only] or [Encrypted Preferred].
Enter the amount of time after which DNS connection timeout occurs. If receiving data halts on the way, after the amount of time specified here has elapsed, the connection to the printer is timed out.
Specify the operation mode for DNS Encryption (DNS over HTTPS).
This item is displayed when IP Mode is set to IPv4 or Dual Stack.
Set whether to get address from DHCP.
These items are displayed when [Get IP Address from DHCP] is disabled.
Enter the DNS server addresses for IPv4.
Set whether to enable IPv4 dynamic DNS registration.
This item is displayed when [Dynamic DNS Registration] is enabled.
Set whether to allow overwriting during IPv4 dynamic DNS registration.
This item is displayed when IP Mode is set to IPv6 or Dual Stack.
Set whether to get address from DHCPv6-lite.
This item is displayed when [Get IP Address from DHCPv6-lite] is disabled.
Enter the DNS server addresses for IPv6.
Set whether to enable IPv6 dynamic DNS registration.
This item is displayed when [Dynamic DNS Registration] is enabled.
Set whether to allow overwriting during IPv6 dynamic DNS registration.
Set whether to create a domain searching list automatically.
These items are displayed when [Generate Domain Search List Automatically] is disabled.
Enter the name of the search domain.
Enter the connection timeout time for DNS encryption.
Enter the server address of the DNS encryption server.
Enter the port number to connect to the DNS encryption server.
Enter the connection path to the DNS encryption server.
For information about setting items, refer to "When [Unencrypted Only] is selected for [DNS Encryption (DNS over HTTPS)]" and "When [Encrypted Only] is selected for [DNS Encryption (DNS over HTTPS)]".
Configure the settings for enabling IEEE 802.1X authentication on your network. This item can be used when your network supports IEEE 802.1X.
To edit the settings, click [Setup] to display the [802.1X] dialog box.
Set whether to enable the EEE 802.1X protocol.
Set the authentication method for IEEE 802.1X.
Set whether to verify server certificate.
Enter a user name (device name) to use when logging in to IEEE 802.1X authentication. This field cannot be left blank.
Enter a password to use when logging in to IEEE 802.1X authentication. This field cannot be left blank.
Enter the same string as that you entered in [Password].
